Default Intrepid AC

1994 Intrepid AC problem. Compressor does not turn on with AC switch.
Checked charge and it is full. If I hard wire the compressor to the
battery, the compressor runs and the AC works fine. What do I look
for? Is there a sensor that has gone bad?

Thanks in advance.

Pressure transducer (a kind of sensor) goes bad quite often on those.
It sends a pressure signal to the computer. Improper signal, no A/C
compressor operation.

Sounds like a blown fuse/link/relay.
