Default Corvette Quality

I love the way the 2005 C6 looks, but am concerned about reliability
and the thing just falling apart. Any feedback from owners? The
corvette.com web site doesn't inspire quality either. I tried to build
one about 6 times before it worked. If they can't even get that to
work...

Laugh out loud! My 1994 C4 has 119,000 miles on it, still nudges past the
160 mark. Does 0-60 in a bit more than 5 second, gives me 26.7 miles per
gallon of gas on long trips, and is a joy to own and drive. I full-well
expect it to last more than 200,000 miles.

I have more than 350,000 miles in C4s, more than 40,000 in C5s. A C6 is
likely in the offing around the end of April when I get back from hunting in
South Africa. Oh, and I drive my cars in the rain.

Tried to build one WHAT? A Corvette? A website? I'm not sure I understand
what is causing your quality concerns.

Charlie, I initially grappled with that issue myself. But then I remembered
that in the Chevy website, they have a feature called "Build Your Chevy".
Using this tool, you can "build" any Chevy product, with whatever options
you choose and then you can price it out. Check out this link and you'll see
what ichoor0416 is talking about:

Snicker. Built a $62.5k 'vert in 3 minutes. Click on desired options,
click continue. If one has difficulty handling that, it begs asking how
would one drive the purchase. ?!?!?
