So not only in an Alfa then???

Good going though, but you want try that run in mine... You'll still have
half a tank of diesel left (580ish usually when averaging 100mph) and my car
has the same amount of power as a 1.6

Mine is a 1.JED 115bhp Alfa 156.

I consider Porche, XK8 / R and BMW7 series out of my league. Mind you with
the GTA!

Only filled up as I was passing Tescos, still had 1/4 tank left and
according to computer good for another 100, so not so bad.

Why would you think that?

The Beemer 7 series is a tank ! only the 735 or 745 would be a challenge !
Usually driven by rich ****s who own companies or their personal driver - so
none would do more than 70 anyway!
XK8 are driven by old fudders who never go over 82mph, and watch that back
end slip on tight motorway curves
A porche maybe a little tougher to contend with but like you siad - the 147
3.7 GTA would have a good pop at it...

I find many drivers shift back into the middle lane with the new sporty 156
face in thier rear view mirror and a quick flash of the fogs !! The only car
I have a ball ache with are the Astra Diesel Vans ! For some reason they
just seem to have en-equalled turbo power...
