Error code 36
I checked the error codes on my 1987 coupe (thanks to the help of you guys)
and received code number 36. Much to my confusion, I was given two different meanings for that code. One from the www.c4vettes.com website said code 36 is the mass air flow burn off circuit, meaning a problem with the MAF (easily fixed if that's the case.) The Chilton manual said that code 36 is an ignition system circuit error or a transaxle shift problem. Will someone please tell me what code is the correct one? Many thanks, Rick |
