Default rear brakes

Sorry guys. I just finished talking to the Honda dealer. She was got
the pads and shoes mixed up. I have 60% left on the front and 66% left
on the back brakes.

Your back brakes will last a lot longer than the fronts.

My 98 civic didn't need rear replacements on the shoes until about 225000kms

I think all the shops do for the rear shoes (and probably
front pads) is a crude, ruler measurement of the linings
(shoes and pads). That's what I do when I check my brakes.
That 66% is just a guesstimate. Sounds like all's normal
brake lining-wise on your car to me.
