Driveshaft replacement advice sought: '72 Dodge.
Somebody GAVE me a 24-foot Dodge Motor Home, '72. It had no driveshaft
so we took one off another Dodge motor home and installed it. Was driving it home and one of the bolts holding the rear yoke sheared and the driveshaft 'went': flew right off, luckily without causing an accident. Anyhoo, I have to replace the driveshaft. Never done this before so any pointers that any of you can offer would be appreciated. Is there a torque spec. on the bolts that hold/secure the yokes? Christopher A. Steele |
