Default what kinf od expoxy to use to bond honda rubber bumper cover?

94 civix - bumper has craks from previous owner's accident - junk yard is
too expensive for new covers - I tried a permatex epoxy from kmart tonight,
but it doesn't seem to penetrate into the bumper cover material.

Do I have to go to a body shop or is there an expoxy just for this?

Whatever you end up using, it will work better if you use very coarse
sandpaper to rough it up. Epoxy wont stick well to smooth surfaces.

I can't nail the answer to your question, but I can suggest looking next at
Pep Boys. Last I was there, it had a few shelves of body repair materials
(plastics, cements, tapes, etc.) and kits.
