Default Honda 2005 Pilot NAVI audio questions

I have just purchased a used 2005 Honda Pilot NAVI. The previous owner
had an aftermaket DVD system installed. Since the sticker listed a 6 CD
system and the current configuration only has a single indash CD I am
assuming the DVD wiped the changer out. I want to look into further
alterations involving XM radio and Ipod inputs. I am exploring
replacement of the factory CD/Receiver with one that includes XM/IPOD
capability.
Has anyone had experience with this situation?

Check out http://www.hondapilot.org/ There are lots of write-ups on what
people have done in the way of IPOD/XM adapters or radio replacements.

The 6 CD changer is under the driver's seat in the Nav equipped pilots.
