Moron drivers
Two days ago watched a film clip of cars on a slick hill. The hill
wasn't that steep and was a wide city street - looked to be about 4 lanes wide with no uphill traffic that I saw. I thought I heard that 30 cars had done this, I know I saw at least 10 do it. Every one was sliding down the curb with wheels cramped to go out into the street, every one of them had the brakes locked up. Was like watchig bumper cars as one after the other rammed the ones already stopped ahead of them due to colisions. Not one let off on the bake so they could at least try to steer around the crash they knew was coming. One passenger and one driver even bailed out with the driver almost run over by the car sliding behind her/him (couldn't tell). Definitely shows that driver ed is distinctly lacking in how to control a car in a skid. Harry K |

Then again, maybe they were deathly afraid of airbag deployment. > Definitely shows that driver ed is distinctly lacking in how to control > a car in a skid. At least they weren't exceeding the posted speed limit ... |

They showed her almost getting run over, then interviewed her. I have no idea why she abandoned her car. I also noticed EVERYONE had their wheels locked up. I'd have tried unlocking them and going around, or up the curb. It was funny to see the clip "*Honk Honk* *smash* ...... *Honk Honk* *smash*...... *Honk Honk* *smash*" |

I wonder if the person quoted here happens to post to r.a.d. under the name LBMHBF. "As soon as I cleared that little bridge, as soon as I got over that, I didn't have any control over my car. No steering, no brakes, nothing. So I just jumped out of my car," said driver Kim McWilliams. |

All these people should be cited for reckless driving and lose their
license. It's the driver's job to monitor road conditions. The tv station has the film so should be no problem getting at least some plate numbers. Idiot people will keep right on doing this until they're punished. |

I'm guessing you're the guy that bailed and ran away.
