Did you happen to do any work for an owner who stores his cars on Fullerton in
an old factory building?

No, but that rings a very misty bell. Was
this owner ever some kind of police chief in the western suburbs?
Mostly I work
for Roxas Restorations in Bridgeview
and Chicago Restorations in North-
lake. I've done some extensive work
on different cars for the Zerth brothers
in Posen, and replaced some sills
on a Model A Ford for a place in
Woodridge called Midwest Street
Rod which I think is no longer there.
Recently I've been picking up work
from International Restorations in
Oak Lawn which is run by Dan
McMahon.

No, he was just a very wealthy person with lots of cars, all with some sort
of history or story attached to it. I can't remember his name, it's been that
long since I last saw the cars or the "artist" that was doing the wood work.
When I was last ther the man was working on a Delahay (?) door frame and it was
just absolutely a piece of art he was creating. I thought it might have
possibly been you. You're the first person I've seen that has mentioned he does
this work in Chicago, and thought I'd take a chance.
