Default motor swap question

I have a 99' ford explorer with a 4.0 v6, how hard is it to swap the
motor out for a v8, found a local one at a junkyard (it's a 98 with
65,000 on it). Do I need a different tranny, radiator, exhaust, etc?

Default motor swap question

This will be a labour of love.... Engine, trans, most likely transfer case
if a 4X4, exhaust, radiator, PCM, wiring harnesses, front springs, probably
driveshafts, exhaust system.... You'd be further ahead to sell what you have
and look for what you want...
