Just cause you can't do long division doesn't mean they can't. Lock
this killer up forever.

HUH?!? It's enough to get you or I a DUI conviction, time in jail and lose
our licenses. But since it's a cop, the consequences are different. He's
on a paid vacation as a direct result of the same behavior that would have
us jailed. -Dave

I'm not saying that it's not *drunk* or that he shouldn't receive a
DUI. In fact, since he was instrumental in enacting stricter DUI
enforcement/penalties it's only right that he should be convicted. I'm
just saying that it's pretty pathetic that someone with only a 0.12
would lose control so badly as to crash into a concrete barrier.

Oh man are you wrong...

Doing exactly that is what happens to truckers all the time. I know.
I've been driving for a long time.

Oh, well when you put it THAT way, that is pretty pathetic. I read a report
about a year ago about a group of police officers who decided to test the
breathalyzer to see how many drinks it would take to be DUI. Most cops on
the test blew over .1 after just one drink. But there was one who downed a
whole six-pack quickly, and was still under the limit. So maybe THIS GUY
was the one. -Dave

Drunk enough to fall asleep at the wheel. Should have had some
coffee. Might not help your reaction time or judgement, but at least
it'll keep you awake.

Who did he kill? I did not see anywhere in the article about a murder.

Nothing like being wide awake when you crash into a concrete barrier.
