Default Possible Pontiac Sunfire/Cavalier A/C Problem

Checking over my 2000 Sunfire the other day and I noticed that one of
the metal A/C lines ( left hand side as you look into the engine
compartment, a couple of inches below the hood support hinge ) was
tight against a sharp edge of body metal. The line was already
beginning to wear through. I wedged a piece of vinyl between the line
and the sharp edge to stop further wear. I'm sure more than just my
Sunfire were manufactured this way so heads up to members of this group
to check yours as well if you have A/C!
