Default shift stick problem

I have a 93 Honda Civic. The shift stick feels like it is in neutral even
when it is in gear. Do I require a new shift stick or is there another
underlying problem?

Shifter bushings are worn. Makes the shifter feel sloppy and makes it buzz
in certain gears.
