Default Peugeot 206 oil-level problem!?

Hi!
First of all I want to apologise my selfe for spalling errors I shell
make in this message. I have one problem: I own Peugeot 206 1.4 16V
and the electronic display for oil level is showing that oil level is
low, but when i check oil level with oil bar (I don't know if that is
corect word for it) everything is O.K. I told to dealer in my country
about this and thay told me that this is normal (!?!?!) becouse all of
2004. peugeot 206 have this problem with some kind of sensor for oil
level. Does anybody has this problem or knows what to do? Should I
call in France the Peugeot company? BTW I'm from Croatia.
Thanks
Davorin
