LLBs want "consideration"
Once again today I encounter an LLB near the 41/I94 split. Those wanting to remain on I94 need to exit to the right. I come up on this LLB and signal with my left turn signal asking him to move over. I then signal a flash-to-pass. He doesn't move over, nor does he begin passing. I start to go around him and now he finds his accelerator and blocks me from going around on the right. I fall in behind him, he slows, I try to around on the right, he accelerates. Rinse repeat. So I decide, screw it. He's got WI plates, state of LLBs. I just stay in the middle lane next to him since I can't pass. I figure he probably doesn't want to be on 41. Sure enough as we get to the split he's all ****ed off and trying to get over to the right. He's gesturing that I should let him change lanes in front of me. Seems he thinks that other drivers should compensate for his lack of planing showing same selfish behavior trend that makes him an LLB. At the last possible moment he decides he can change lanes behind me (since the rest of the stacked up traffic had moved right to exit) instead of in front of me and he dashes across the lanes to the right. Of course he'll probably never realize if he had just moved right and let traffic pass instead of becoming stacked up he wouldn't have had this problem. |

Obey the speed laws and you won't have all these "problems". |

However I suppose I still could have fit if I really wanted to risk it. >>At the last possible moment he decides he can change lanes behind me >>(since the rest of the stacked up traffic had moved right to exit) >>instead of in front of me and he dashes across the lanes to the right. > Lucky for him you decided not to sink to his level by slowing down and > forcing him to miss his exit. I just decided not to go that far. But I was really tempted. It's a real pain to double back from there. |

It won't change his opinion of 'Chicago drivers' much and it *might* teach the SOB a lesson. I have to live among those LLB morons up here. The more who *learn* what happens when they LLB, the better. -- C=2ER. Krieger (WI plates, but *never* LLB) |

I had matched him until he reduced speed by braking. The big problem is if I do it, I have to miss my exit and go out of my way. I don't want to be stuck at the light with them. (my exit is the first one off 41 after the split) |

But yeah, pretty much one end to the other. I should get a video camera and film it for the group some day. Hardly one round trip without something of at least minor interest. |
