Default 155 arm rest

Hi,

I had to do this a while back when the screws got loose and have
complete forgotten the trick ;-)

How do you get the arm rest off the drivers seat on a 155? It's a 96 V6
if they're different.

Thanks

Nick

Hi:

On my '96 2.0 16V TS Sport (with the sports seats) you raise the armrest to
45 degrees, i.e.
halfway between the down and up position. Then you "simply" sit in the
passenger seat, grab
the armrest around the pivot in the seatback and PULLLL straight out! My was
hard as h**l
to get off but perserverence ultimately prevailed. It's actually a plastic
or nylon peg or axle in
the armrest that goes into a collar in the seatback -- or was it the other
way around, a shaft in
the armrest that fits a collar in the armrest?

Good luck!
Bo
