Default Help... no elec power to my TJ

I started my 97 TJ today and drove about four blocks when the dash bell
rang and the CHECK GAUGES message appeared. The voltmeter was pegged at
about 19 volts. =A0

So I drove the Jeep home and turned the engine off.

I tried to restart it but there is no electrical power anywhere...
lights, horn, radio, key/door buxzer... nada.

The battery still has full power.

What could be my problem?

TIA

Dirty or loose battery main cable at one end or the other.
