Default The self-righteous LLB association of Virginia

http://www.bdtonline.com/articles/20..._news/02va.txt

Evidently, some lacksadasical, oblivious Virginia drivers can't stand
having to move out of the left lane once in a while.

I, like other good drivers, would have had no problem yielding the
passing lane to faster vehicles. Perhaps instead of throwing out
nonsensical acronyms or wild exaggerations about having to check 10
miles behind for faster traffic in an effort to redirect the discussion
from the source of the problem (your poor driving skills and lack of
courtesy), just try to keep right except to pass and try not to cut
faster vehicles off when moving into the left lane.

The telling line in the article:
"Fisher said the deputy did extend the professional courtesy of not
ticketing the officers even though they had been traveling at speeds of
up to 95 mph and, he said, forcing motorists out of the passing lane."

FORCING motorists out of the PASSING lane? Obviously if the LLBs
were PASSING instead of being passed, there wouldn't an issue.

hmmm... these yahoos going 95 mph.... with their lights
on for what reason? ... to get home quick?

Now that's a thought.. let's let ALL cops do that when
their shift ends.. that would be quite a perk...

I guess those folks that head down to NO to "help"
are entitled to thumb their noses at the rest of us
since they are now annointed as "rightgeous"... :-)

I think Va should have locked their asses up...
and impounded their cars...

I agree. They are not exempt from the laws they enforce.

Maybe they were passing, but at lower speeds (regular folk get reckless
driving tickets if they exceed the speed limit by 20 mph), and were being
tailgated by these arrogant pigs who were doing 95 mph expecting that
everyone would immediately get out of their way?

Really? Lets say you were passing at 80 mph (already well over the speed
limit) and these assholes doing 100 mph were tailgating you?
What would you do if you couldnt move right? Speed, and risk a ticket?
Why couldnt the pigs slow down to the prevailing speed of traffic? Are
they too important for that or what?

revoked. Damn pompous pigs.

In their own minds, yes, they do believe they are above the rest of us.

They are cops; they don't have to obey the laws.

They think so.
