Default Replace Valeo alternator for $499 ????

my Valeo alternator is dead, replacement cost is $499, I can buy
a Bosch alternator for $180

will the Bosch work in my car instead

You need to use the Valeo if that's what's in your car now. The mounts are
different from the Bosch. I'd try a different source. The Valeo for a US
spec 94 325i is only $258 from www.autohausaz.com.
