shut it I love my Supra. In their day, Supras, RX7s and NSX's were
Supercars. The cars you are talking about are Hypercars - the modern
Supercar.

To each his own...

I would trade in my Alfa 156 2.4 JTD for an RX-8. Mind you, I _do_ love the
Alfa.

Yes, it is. And my Alfa isn't :-(

You'd better ask SWMBO.
I suspect that wil be a resounding NO.
She won't let me drive it when shes in it.
She says I go too fast round the corners.
I say she goes too slow round corners.

Possible

Seems far more likely

I was explaining to SWMBO how to take one of the corners near us last
night. She was quite pale :>

I quite like them, I just think the clear light clusters on the back are
ugly. Not keen on the gearshift handle either. All in all a nice car. Quite
low on torque though.

Fashion fad.

Ours is a manual, the knob feels nice. fnar.

'Feature' of a rotary. A rotary is a lot like a 2 stroke piston
engine.
Saying that though its a doddle to drive in town. It behaves impecably
below 5000rpm. After that things get wild very quickly.

I'd love to have a go of a rotary. Preferably an RX7 although I reckon for
keeps I'd rather have the RX8.
Did I hear somewhere that instead of a rev limiter per se the RX7 has a
"you're going too far" alarm sounder?

A lot of Jap market import cars have a speed limit "bing bing bing" till
you drop below the jap speed limit. Bloody annoying, and you can have it
disabled in the UK.
