Default used car recommendations for around $7K?

Consider a Toyota Camry or Avalon. Both are highly reliable cars and
they will both seat four comfortably for several hours of driving. The
four cylinder engine in the Camry has a surprising amount of punch, but
both cars are available with a 6 cyliunder too.

Expect either car will be very reliable if it has been cared for. So
be sure to check maintenance records and request a Car Fax report. For
the price range you are looking at you will be looking at a 1998 to
2000 year model with 80k miles.
