That reminded me of an old college buddy who drove a '63 Olds hearse
for some odd reason. Come to think of it, he was a theatre major, so
oddities were no surprise. Last I heard from him, he was an Elvis
impersonator in St. Louis.

My favorite use of a hearse was a sports-related article in a car mag
a few years ago in which a couple of Purdue football fans set up a
hearse for tailgating. They converted a coffin into a combination
beer cooler and barbecue grill. I thought of doing something similar
to my dad's '74 Dodge Tradesman van, which was a former ambulance, for
tailgating at Arrowhead, and converting a gurney into a grill.
Haven't started that concept yet.

When I was in college years ago, there was this one student (didn't know
who he was) who drove a hearse. No idea where he got it from, but it was
hard to miss - especially with the, "Bad to the bone," bumper
sticker.....
