I guess I should not admit it but I probably have not washed the 67
since last fall since I don't drive it in the snow etc. It had a nice
layer on dust on it, so I backed it out of the garage and proceeded to
give it a wash. This kid that was around 10 years old or so is riding
by on his bike and stops tell me that this is really a cool car. He
asked what that stuff was along the bottom of the door. I reply that
it is rust. He gives me a puzzled look and asked what that was. I
asked him if he seriously had never seen a vehicle with rust on it
before. He said no. I guess that if his parents lease a new SUV every
Three years, then he probably never had seen a car with rust before.
It was just surprising.

Bill get some Marhide rust converter it works great. I have put it on a
rusted panel of one of my parts cars that sets outside with out any
other treatment and it has held up to alot of heavy rainy days.
Not sure what the differance is but the brush on converter works much
better then the spray cans.
