Default Quick Insurance / Bluebook Question...

Ok, so my car was stolen last week, and I'm curious which value on the
KBB website they'll most likely use to estimate the value of my car...
there are three different measures on the website, suggested retail,
private party, and trade-in value. Which of these are they most likely
to base the payout on? I'm just trying to plan what car to buy next...

In our s'eastern US, they tend to rely on NADA retail minus(or plus)
mileage adjustment. HTH, s

I'd think you would get something inbetween trade-in value to private
party value, since there is no proof of the condition of the vehicle,
other than a possible mileage log from the auto shop you get your oil
changes from (if you don't do it yourself).

I seriously doubt you'd come too near retail value unless you had
rediculously low mileage and a printout of your last odometer reading
from an oil and lube shop (Jiffy Lube, Quick Lube, etc) or whomever
else may have recorded this information. This may not even hold any
weight anyway.
