O2 sensor dies AGAIN
I have a 4-cylinder 03 Toyota Camry (Five speed manual) made in Japan.
Seven months after delivery the air fuel sensor that plugs into the manifold directly behind the radiator died. Replaced under warranty. Seven months later, died again. Replaced under warranty. Guess what -- 8 months later dead again. Still under warranty. Getting a little tired of the game - but more than that I am wondering if there is something else wrong that is causing this to happen? Any thoughts? |

Hi,
O2 sensor do not like water, they die really quicky when put in contact with water. It might be worth checking that no condense water or rain water is coming in the pipe ! On the other hand, some manufacturer has some large problems with this product. I will recommend a bosch model, really stable ! Jerome www.team74.com |
