Default Reliability of the Toyota Avalon engine

How long has the 3.5L DOHC V6 used in the Avalon and some Camrys been
around?
Does it hold up well? Develop leaks? Any expensive repairs in the
first 100K?

TIA

Ed

*Some* Camrys? Like not really for sale yet 2007 Camrys? The Avalon
started using the 2GR-FE in 2005, and so far I have noted no problems
with it.

No problems noted yet. 100k miles have not ticked over on any I've
seen.
