Really, neither RR6 nor RR7 seem like much of a leap beyond RR5 on PS2 which came out over 6 years ago in Japan, and was actually pretty much completed in 1999. still, as long as its 60fps, I will be getting RR7 because I love the series for the most part. btw, have a look at these screens from the 11-year old arcade Rave Racer, the third game in the Ridge Racer series: http://www.retrogaming.it/coinop/raver.jpg http://www.retrogaming.it/coinop/raver_a.jpg http://www.retrogaming.it/coinop/raver_b.jpg http://www.retrogaming.it/coinop/raver_c.jpg for 11 years ago, the texture-mapping does not look much worse, IMO, than the current RR games, even the latest one on PS3.
