R18 Tires Jetta GLI 2004
My 2004 Jetta GLI (1.8T) came with Goodyear Eagle F1 225/40Z R18 92Y
tires, which, are really good driving tires but at 30K miles 2 of them need to be replaced. My quote for 4 tires mounted, balanced, and aligned is $1000! I don't really want to spend $1000 every 18 months on tires so if anyone knows another brand that will fit this car at this size for less, I am certianly entertaining ideas. |

R18 Tires Jetta GLI 2004
" this is the aircooled forum " - woops
Tirerack did me very well. Even delivered 4 tires to my local shop where they can be installed. Went with the 225/40HR18 Kumho ECSTA AST $350 shipped about $120 to get them installed. I decided I didn't need the high performance tires because they just don't last long enough. |
