bad turn signal for my Nissan
I have a 1994 Nissan Altima that recently failed inspection because the
drivers side front turn signal wouldn't work. I got a new bulb and it still doesn't work. I thought I might need the whole light assembly which screws out but the local auto parts shops here in Hawaii only have parts from 1998 on models. Could it be a fuse? Would there be a fuse for each turn signal? Where are the fuses located for the turn signals? I have looked in the boxes under the hood and don't see one marked turn signal or indicater or anything like it, only headlight ones. Please advise. I need to get this baby inspected. Much aloha..... |

Nice guy you are. Maybe nobody knew the answer. Maybe the knowledgeable guys were all away for the weekend. They're all volunteers, you know. Anyway, good for you for finding your own solution. Now maybe you can add to Usenet's stock of knowledge with a bit more detail in case any other lost soul is Googling for this same problem at some point in the futu 1) Where was the ground wire? 2) Was it corroded or pulled loose? 3) How did you fix it? I cannot tell you how many answers I've personally found without needing to post a single question, simply by searching Google Groups for my problem. I sincerely thank all those who were kind enough to post their solutions so others may benefit as well. -- TeGGeR® The Unofficial Honda/Acura FAQ www.tegger.com/hondafaq/ |
