97 Explorer
Will it keep running if you keep your foot on the accelerator? If so, it is
probably the IAC (Idle Air Control) valve. Simple to change out and can often get a little life extension by removing and cleaning it. =Vic= Bear Gap, PA "rundmc0717" > wrote in message lkaboutautos.com... > My 97 Explorer will start right up and run for 5 -15 seconds and just > die.It will start up again and the same thing will happen over and over > again.
