Default 94 ford explorer charging issue

I have a 94 4x4, driving along radio started going on and off, lights
dimmed, car died. Have replaced alternator twice battery 3 times,
cleaned battery wires, installed new connectors, checked fender fuse
box, have no idea what next. Is there a fusible link? I have bought
one to replace it with, but cant find it. Any ideas what else could be
causing a power drain? I can crank car but battery light stays on, and
battery drains real fast. can't smell anything shortingout. pulled all
the fuses to test, still had battery light on.

Two alternators and three batteries? Aren't you better off taking it to a
pro?

It does not sound like a drain problem at all, but like the alternator not
charging. A simple multimeter will tell you, and it's cheaper than a new
battery. Perhaps you have a loose ground connection.
Some older alternators used an external regulator, which might be bad, but I
doubt that MY 94 still had one of those. Anyone know for sure?

Thanks!

While you are at it check and or replace the positive battery cable. They
can look good on the outside and be rotten on the inside.
