1992 Grand Prix maintenance

Hi all!

Yes, another lurker posting in this group. :-) I recently purchased a
1992 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP with 90,000 miles on it. want to start off
on the right foot, so I was wondering what I should initially do? Oil
Change? Transmission fluid? Tune-Up?

Do you know the history of the vehicle? Any records you can go by? Did the
previous owner fill in the scheduled maintenance sheet in the owners manual?

If it were my car, I'd look for any stickers that show routine maintenance.
If you can't find any of them, change the oil & filter, transmission fluid &
filter (if applicable), fuel filter, spark plugs and coolant. Check the air
filter, fan and accessory belt(s), power steering fluid, brake fluid and
brakes. If it's dirty, clean the throttle body.

That'd probably be a good place to start.
