Default back in the alfa family

After selling my lovely 75 v6 I needed a diesel because of travelling from
London to Devon and have decided to be sensible and get a 164 3.0 super
luso. Oh well I was without a Alfa v6 for about 3 weeks and could not take
it getting withdrawal symptoms

Alfa do diesels (some of which are, apparently, quite good) - what's
wrong with that as a solution?

For your drive, driving quite hard and fast I'd expect about 45mpg out
of mine. In a V6 at the same rate I'd expect..er..to be skint!

Having said that, I use an alternative economy measure for the Alfa
these days..mpsb (miles per suspension bush) - don't ask!!
