Tech: 1990 Grand Caravan 3.3L won't start.. Has spark & getting fuel
It'll crank & crank and won't start.. It has a code 22 (coolant temp
sensor). Sensor & plug have been replaced. Still nothing. If you disconnect the collant temp sensor plug it'll start for 3-5 seconds and run at about 2400 rpm, then die out. Computer has also been replaced. Any ideas??? Thanks Chas |

Since it would run for 3-5 seconds after disconnecting the temp senor
plug, that fuel pressure wasn't the problem. I'll have to see what it is.. All you are doing there is richening the mixture when it is disconnected,
that tell you anything? "m6onz5a" > wrote in message ups.com... > Since it would run for 3-5 seconds after disconnecting the temp senor > plug, that fuel pressure wasn't the problem. It's the only way the engine will run . Also, when you disconnect the
coolant temp sensor, the cooling fan should come on and it doesn't though the fan motors are fine.
