Default TSB 97-01, door lock freeze

If anyone has TSB 97-01 dealing with door lock freeze can you summarize it
or better yet post it? I'm having increasing trouble with lock freezes on
my 96 Golf and old NG posts present the NG conundrum of some saying do "A"
and others saying "A" is the worst thing you can do. (substitute grease,
antifreeze, etc. for "A"). I've been using commercial door lock de-freezers
which (if I happen to have one handy) usually get me into the car but the
problem is getting worse over time.
