Default 1996 Explorer

I"m a newby, i have a 96 explorer, and i was doing somethings today inside
the car, cleaning it out and stuff, and i duno if i ran down the battery
but when i went to start it up , and it didnt start, all i heard were
clicks , like its not turning over, i duno what i did, or if its just the
battery, any suggestions , thanks

Chances are, if you had the door(s) open (interior lights on, key on, that
kind of stuff) for any length of time, the battery died (if this happened
over a short period.... and hour or two - it's probably time to replace the
battery, anyway).

yea i just wore down the battery, i jumped it off this morning , thanks

Tyler,
It is time to replace the battery if you ran it down within an hour. Also
if you are in a cold climate region then you might want to look into a
battery with a few more COLD CRANKING amps than what you have in there.
Sure saves time and a lot of headache when your stuck in a parking lot in
the dead of winter! Stay warm and Drive Safe!
