Default 96 Oldsmobile 88 Brake Problem

I have the subject car and I am getting a pulsation in the brake pedal
which seems from the feedback to be originating at the driver side
front wheel. This car has ABS brakes. Anybody have an idea what is
causing the pulsations.

Sounds like a classic case of rotors need re-surfacing (turning).
Slight out-of-round can cause "jumping', pulsating pedal, sensation of
alternately slowing-and-releasing as the rotors turn thru and spread/release
the pads. HTH, s

why do you say that it feels like it's coming from a front brake?

If I had a brake problem I would remove all four wheels and do a visual
inspection. if I saw any glazing - this might be a cause for a pulsating brake
pedal -- rotor is shiny or would look like a mirror, In this case I would have
the rotors cut and R/R brakes.
