It surprised me as to what they don't have over there that we take for
granted here.
Some common everyday things just don't exist there. Good high end hand
lights are available but none are small units. The ones they have which
are small are typically junk.

Want the latest high tech gadget and you will find it. Want good toilet
paper... Well you might want to import that.

Clearly I was not referencing the flashlight. I've not only, for
extended periods, frequented, but also lived in very hostile
locales (including international war zones) and rarely either
found the need for or in fact carried any type of firearm.
