Default Suggestions on brand of shocks and struts

I have a '96 Mustang Coup that is my daily driver
138,000 miles on original shocks and struts which I'm about to change.
I do not care to buy shocks based on race sponsorship, or that
the kids would be impressed by the brand I chose.
I want a good factory ride (or better) for normal driving.
I don't want to overspend, or by cheap crap either..
Any suggestions on brand?

thanks
Chuck
