Any accessory to cover top of window when parked?

In summer, I like to roll down the window a little bit to keep the
inside cool. The problem is when it starts to rain, I have to rush to
my car and close the window. Is there some accessory I can install
near the top of the window so it stops rain from getting in? I don't
intend to drive the car with the cover on. Thanks.

Thanks. That looks good. But is there anything more temporary? Ideally
I want to install it when parking so I can roll down the window and
take it off when I drive.

None that I know of.

However...

There are many studies that show cracking a window open a inch or so does
virtually nothing to keep a car's interior cool.

If I were you I'd leave the windows shut when you leave the car, then later
just open both front doors completely for a minute before driving off.

Keep this in mind: Mondern cars are chock-full of very complex, sensitive
and horribly expensive electronics. Rain in the wrong place (such as in the
interior of your car) could be fatal to your wallet. It's not worth it to
leave the windows open in the hopes of cooling off the interior,
considering the potential damage.

Currently I'm doing what you said, shut the windows when I leave the
car. The studies that say leaving the window an inch open doesn't cool
the interior are irrelevant to me because my skin feels much better if
I leave the window open a bit.

I'll seriously consider the ventshade you recommended. Thanks.

They are kind of nice.

When I bought the used car that had ventshades, my first thought was to
remove them. I'm glad I didn't. It's good to be able to open the
windows while driving and not have the wind and rain come in. They also
offer a bit more shade when the sun is blasting.
