After threatening to do it for a while (reading posts here) I've finally
fitted a 'psuedo-changer' cable to my head unit - ipod works a treat on it for total of £6! |

Enjoy! (even more knowing you didn't shell out £150 for the proper alfa kit) Tom |

Surely the 'proper' lead gives remote control of the iPod through the steering wheel controls and displays on the dash? Otherwise you've got to fiddle about with the iPod while driving, no? Although I can see that £6 for a basic stereo line-in socket is a pretty good deal! Ah well, can't afford iPod or the lead. I'm still paying for my 147! (and the 36k service last week, and all 4 tyres need changing soon...) :-( dom. |

You just need to plan ahead with your playlists. Most ipods hold more music than people will ever listen to on a journey anyhow. > Ah well, can't afford iPod or the lead. Ouch thats gonna hurt but I sympathise cos I'm going to need 2 or even 3 soon as well. Tom |

It's a fairly easy job if you have the same head unit. Tom |
