Default spare tire lock for 1994 Explorer?

Anybody know where to find a spare tire lock for a 1994 Ford Explorer?
I find plenty for late models, but none for the "classics".

I am at a loss here. Why do you need to lock it? It is not accessible
without the crank that is under the hood. The hatch covers the crank hole.
If the car is locked how can anyone steal your spare?

I think he means he wants a spare (as in extra) tire lock, right?

Still, where would the lock go? Why would it be necessary?
