Default SLoth.

I thought sloth were irritating in the car, but when I am bicycling they are so
much more irritating.

Today was a bit cold. I decided to ride anyway. I am on a four lane arterial
coming up an intersection where I will be turning left. A BMW is coming up in the
left lane, and he accelerates to prevent me from getting into the left turn lane
before him. ok, fine, he's got like 300hp, np. I pull into the left turn lane
behind him and the arrow expires as we are reaching the line. Waiting... waiting
gap. He doesn't take it, I yell, he doesn't go. waiting waiting waiting...
waiting... gap... he starts moving SLOWLY gap is closing, I yell "ACCELERATE", he
doesn't he goes wide, I go near I pass him, he rolls down the window and yells
something at me. For crying out loud, I put out what? a 1/2 hp tops? probably
more like a 1/4 or less.

So riding goes pretty good cept for being caught by a train and my legs freezing
up... Riding along another arterial. This arse wipe passes me, intersection
ahead, green light. He cuts back right signals a right and jams on the brakes and
then just sits there, at a green light. I swerve around him on the left and pass.
Then he makes a SLOW right turn.

Then later I get this woman on cellphone. She nearly hits me passing me, stops at
a red light ahead of me, then doesn't accelerate. I slap her passenger side 1/4
panel near the tail lamp to get her moving.

And those are memerable sloth today. There were a few more, but they were just
fast enough to get out my way without being irritating.

I don't get it. I'm on a -bicycle- here. my peak speed today was a sad 26.8mph
and I am finding people driving motor vehicles to be irritatingly slow.
