transmission pan gasket question
I've got a '55 Studebaker with a '63 Borg-Warner Flightomatic
transmission installed in it. The pan gasket is leaking badly and making a mess of the floor of my friend's garage. If I ask for a pan gasket for a later Ford FMX (same tranny) at the parts store, would it be neoprene instead of cork? thanks, nate -- replace "fly" with "com" to reply. http://home.comcast.net/~njnagel
