Running a Windshield Wiper Motor Out of Car
Hello,
I have a Ford windshield wiper motor (93BG 17504 FF) that I am hoping to use for a 4th grade simple electric cart project. I have been trying to figure out which connectors out of the 6 will make it run with the highest torque, but am having a tough time. I was hoping someone would know which leads I should use. I am using a 12V, 12Ah sealed lead acid battery and a 10A fuse to run the motor. The connections are as follows: Lead 1: Black Lead 2: White & Blue Lead 3: Purple Lead 4: Black Lead 5: White & Green Lead 6: White & Black Leads 4, 5, 6 are shorted together. The following web site had a nice discussion about what leads to use but mine do not match their colors: http://pergatory.mit.edu/2.007/kit/a...r/fordmtr.html Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
