Default NR2003 - Europe - V8Thunder Winter season starting next week!

Are you looking for a serious UK-based racing league using Nascar
Racing 2003?

Look no further!

V8Thunder, the only online racing league whose logo appears on cars of
the Stock Car Speed Association (SCSA - formerly "Days Of Thunder")
Championship, featuring connections to real-life SCSA teams Torquespeed
(who provide the computer infrastructure), West-Tec and Kidd-Richardson
Racing, as well as crews and drivers from the Pickups and Legends
championships, is about to start its 2005 Winter season!

Appealing to all kinds of online drivers, from novice to pro, and
featuring races at both European ovals (Rockingham and EuroSpeedway),
V8Thunder features the following four series:

V8Thunder Lites Series
Racing on Tuesday nights, the Lites Series is the ideal place to start
your online racing career.
The series uses Project Wildfire's GNS Mod. Setups are fixed (to make
the learning curve a little less steep) and drivers are allowed to use
driving aids.
Events consist of a double header. The first (shorter) race is raced
with yellows off, while the second (longer) is raced with yellows on.
The 12-race schedule will take drivers to the following 4 tracks:
Rockingham UK, Michigan BR, Dover, Talladega BR. The tracks are
repeated 3 times in order to give drivers the chance to build on their
experience from one race to another.

V8Thunder Trucks Series
Racing on Wednesday nights, the Trucks Series is the second step in the
V8Thunder ladder.
The series uses Project Wildfire's CTS Mod. Driving aids are not
allowed.
Events (double headers with races lasting about 45 minutes each)
usually see a wide array of driving talents and good competitive
racing. It's the ideal place to measure yourself against more
experienced drivers.

V8Thunder Inter Series
Racing on Thursday nights, The new Inter Series will feature drivers
that have proven their skills in other V8Thunder racing series and will
use Project Wildfire's GNS Mod. The series will feature medium-long
races (about 80 minutes long) and aims at a low number of yellows. In
order to achieve this goal, a penalty system will be in place to
penalize the drivers that provoke too many accidents.

V8Thunder Trophy
Racing on Saturday nights, the Trophy is the pinnacle of V8Thunder
racing.
The series uses the standard CUP Physics, allowing for fast and furious
action on the track!
Events consist of a single long race (about 90 minutes long) in which
strategy becomes an important factor, as pitting under green is not
uncommon.

In order to add to the experience (and keep the number of yellow flags
to a minimum), all series feature post-race accident analyses carried
out by V8Thunder officials and resulting in penalties for each yellow
flag. The Trucks Series and the Trophy Series also feature a virtual
money system.
Also to make for a more compelling driving experience, drivers wanting
to race in the Games4All Trophy must pass a car-control test before
they are allowed to race.

And just for that final touch, all V8Thunder series implement the
"Lucky Dog" rule: on each yellow, the first car one or more laps down
will get one lap back!

Are you ready to become the next V8Thunder champion?
