My 147 (which is still around AFAIK) was on 168k when I traded it in, no
major hiccups.

My 156 (2.0 twinspark) is coming up to its ninth birthday.. thats nine
years from new with me. 90,000 miles coming up. Although its needed the
usual stuff (wishbones, bushes, new radiator, temp sensor and of course
three sets of belts) it's never actually stranded me. Came close though
with the "rpm sensor". Wouldn't restart in m-way queue, had to wait for
20mins on hard shoulder and then it started... got it replaced before it
reached the point of no return. Runs as well as it ever has.... and
(this never ceases to amaze me as each year & MOT goes by) is still on
the original exhaust. Specialist told me (only a little t-i-c) that the
exhaust was the highest quality item on a 156.......

OK - let's start a competition re exhausts :

My 156 (2.0 SP2) dates from August 1998 and is still on the original exhaust
(after 75000 miles).
