Heater Control Calibration
Anyone out there know how to 'calibrate' the heater control on a 98
Caravan without going to the *^%$&^%) dealer? I just paid $60+ to have mine done, and I know there must be a more affordable way. What ever happened to the days of 'simple cable pulls lever on valve and lets coolant flow through heater core'? It seems more & more that that the unnecessary complication of the automobile is just a ploy to keep you enslaved to the dealer. I mean what's the benefit of having a heater control that needs dealer calibration? Your wife's gonna be constantly turning it up and down anyway. There, I feel much better now. |

Geary, press and hold the rear wiper and washer buttons at the same time until all L.E.D's light, this will put the heater control head unit in calibration mode, when done 2 L.E.D's (rear wiper and washer) will flash alternately and then stop when complete.
