Stratus pcm/asd fuse
Hello all, I’m new to the board and I’m having a problem with my ’96 Stratus that I hope you can help me with, Every time I try to start the car I immediately blow the pcm/asd fuse, (fuse #5), the engine will turn over but it will not start. I pulled he wires off the starter and the fuse will not blow. Any help/tips/pointers would be greatly appreciated!!!

Lost me here, does the engine not turn over at all when the fuse blows??? I pulled he wires off the starter and the fuse will not blow. So now when you pull the wire off the starter...the starter does not turn over??? there are 2 fuse that will blow on these vehicles when the mileage gets up there, I forget which ones but do know that if the one blows and wont allow the starter to crank untill it is replace is normally a faulty starter. The other is to the fuel pump. Im guessing that when your blows....the starter is inop? Glenn Beasley Chrysler Tech Any help/tips/pointers would be greatly appreciated!!! > |
